A good mantra is \u201cdon\u2019t brush where you flush!\u201d We know it\u2019s a little icky to think about, but it\u2019s important to keep your toothbrush as far away from the commode as possible. A study published in the New York Times <\/a>found that mist from flushing \u201ccould play a contributory role in the transmission of infectious diseases.\u201d Their advice? To keep toothbrushes in the medicine cabinet when anyone is sick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
