The composite materials we use are made from a blend of dental-grade plastics and glass particles. Tooth-colored fillings are usually smaller than silver fillings, so they require less preparation and drilling. This ensures that you can maintain more of your natural tooth.

The process for receiving a tooth-colored filling is the same as a traditional silver filling, and can usually be completed in about an hour. At your appointment, our dentist will use local anesthesia to numb your tooth and the surrounding area.
